Richelle Mead partilha a notícia com os leitores no seu blogue, chamando a atenção no entanto para o facto de isso não querer dizer necessariamente que «vamos ter filme já na próxima Primavera!». «Some books are optioned for years with no action. So that may mean nothing is happening right now.», explica a autora. Porém, ainda mantém a esperança: «Of course, it can also mean they're already scripting and making plans.»
